Download and install Flawless Widescreen. Download this script and unpack the archive. Put its contents in the main Flawless Widescreen folder (usually \Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\). I can still hear it, the text keeps coming up on the bottom of the screen, but it's just totally black until I hit A and go back to in-game play. And if it's a cutscene that happens during the middle of a mission, the screen freezes at that point unless unless I pause the game and unpause, and then it continues as normal. Hi! Well, I got this weird problem. When I am starting GTA IV, it just freezes after 2 seconds. When I open up the game, I see copyright stuff and I hear Windows Live's "pop" sound, after that, it freezes and I can close the game only by restarting the system.
